OWSD China National Chapter (CNOWSD)

China is a founding member of OWSD, with over 100 members. China National Chapter (CNOWSD) was founded in 2009 and is now based at UCAS. Its responsibilities include coordinating with the Secretariat of OWSD and the Asia-Pacific region; engaging in broader cooperation and exchanges; organizing the recruitment of new members; jointly hosting professional training and academic seminars; receiving OWSD fellowship grantees，etc. The 4th General Assembly of OWSD, Prof. Fang Xin was elected President, which was held in June 2010 in Beijing. Prof. Wang Yanfen, Executive Vice Chair of University Council and VP of UCAS was elected President of CNOWSD in December 2023.
